I can usually hold it til after. (5 seconds isn't really that long to hold a fart)

Liz hates it when I fart.

Any motion that moves my stomach or any foods consisting of dairy or fruit gets me to fart.

The usual things for me... beans, eggs, etc. On the other hand, I was known in HS for being able to eat Taco Bell without any repercussions later.

The absolute worst cause of gas for me...
My ex was semi-vegetarian (seafood only, no beef or chicken) and used to buy various veggie-burgers. Wasn't huge fan, but some were decent enough to eat on occasion. One time she bough some new kind... think they were called "Nature Burger" and was a dry mix. You had to add water and press them into a patty. I made mine into a sandwich since they never tasted like a burger anyway. It was actually good, little hint of spicy. An hour later I was busting large quantities of ass... at least once every 5 minutes for the next 4 hours. It actually got to the point where she was laughing at my growing concern and the cat ran and hid. I highly recommend them if you're disgruntled at work/coworkers.
