septa train question

when i hop on the train do i have to have a ticket to get on or do i just buy one when the guy comes around? how do i buy a ten pack?

you can buy one when you get on, but it will be more expensive. you can buy a weekly trailpass at any station.

If you just hop on, you can buy the ticket from the conductor. It is going to cost a few bucks more than if you were to buy it from the station. It is cheaper to buy from the station but the Doylestown station ticket office has crummy hours (6-9:45am only). The Lansdale station has much better hours. If you are considering buying a 10 pack of tickets, look into a weekly pass. It is easier just flashing it to the conductor instead of trying to keep track of multiple tickets.

Woodburne has no one to buy it from. You can buy an anywhere weekly or monthly pass from Langhorne and use it any many times on anyform of transportation from Septa for the entire week or month.

Yep they are like 180 for a zone 5. Like woodburne to center city. You can buy whole semester ones too if your in college.
