failure 2 yield ticket in nj

so im drivin in lawrence nj, theirs a cop parked by some checks cashin place on princeton ave & mulberry street. i stop on the red light he immidiately gets on me, follows me for 1/2 miles into the brunswick circle where theres a yield sign, i see uncoming traffic i stop for bout a minute till i can get enough space to get thru, so i proceed, he's follows me for another 1/2 mile gets on my ass i guess to check the info out, then he backs off and pulls me over,im bein polite to the officer, he tells me the reason why he pulled me over cus i failed 2 yield, im like officer i stopped and u saw me stop because u were right behind me, he was like yea i but when u came out u almost got rear ended, so im thinkin like how am i going to get rear ended when u were on my ass the whole time & also if i were 2 get rear ended wouldnt it be the other guys fault because their was more then plenty of space?so after that my battery dies im like great, he's like ima push u into the nearest gas station, im like ok, so he pushed me with his car, and started it, 10 min later i checked my quarter panel and its cracked, im like greeattt.....but anyways is there any way if i can beat the ticket?also anything i can do bout him crackin my bumper & quarter panel?

ok well 1st plead not guilty to the summons sounds beatable in court. 2nd you should report this damage to the police supervisor in Lawrence Twp.
