DE's are fun guns. I would want one as a hunting sidearm or primary. They are a very good gun when scoped for hunting.

And as a sidearm for bears? No way would I want to be caught with a small caliber piece.

Unfortunately I think you give people in general too much credit.

I know. I've been told I have too much common sense for my own good. Thanks greenstreak.

they cost between 1500 and 3000 bucks depending on the model you get and if its gold plated or not
The most expensive DE .50 I've ever seen was below $2000, that was the gold plated model. The gold tiger stripe is another one of those, "just because" items that I want . As to accuracy, they are VERY accurate guns. Quick follow up shots on the other hand, well, not so quick .

If she had that much of a problem with the DE .50, I'd hate to see her with a .454 Casull or an S&W .500!

Funny video

You ever look at their BFR models? Some interesting calibers there.

So I guess accuracy doesn't matter as long as you hit them. I'm not saying buy one and try this.
see thats where your wrong.. a Desert Eagle isnt for self defense its for people who are gun enthusiast, or just for people to take to the range and show off.

and iv seen them been shot at the range, and boy there awesome! i even collected a few shells..

Ha, reminds me of when I got to shoot my uncle's .44 mag when I was a youngin'. I thought I was going to get blown off my feet by the recoil as I was/am small(5'5/127 now), but it was'nt bad at all. I'm not a big gun guy but if I had the cash, I'd want a wildey .475. Best looking and niftiest handgun imo with a punch to boot. Hear they have issues though.
