I love my 05 type s. Had it for about a year now with no real complaints. I beat the **** out of it and hasnt given me any problems yet. I guess it can be fuel efficient, i havent experienced that yet. Obviously the power is in the higher rpms so if your going to drive it like a grandmom for good gas milage might as well not waste your money on the S and just get a base.

I had an SRT4, also a fun car to drive. Loved the seats especially. Those cars can also take a beating. Interior feels cheap but then again you pretty much arent buying that car for its luxury.

Never drove any of the other cars mentioned but all are also great choices. A WRX could be what i get rid of my RSX for in time. I miss having a turbo.

There's a few people from our group going to the Sonic meet. I don't know how stock any of their cars are though. Just look for the cars with "Controlled Insanity" banners on the back window.
