hey a gun thread!

where do you guys meet to shoot? I just have a few handguns right now (XD45 and S&W M&P 9c) but am about to purchase myself a CMMG AR and have been looking for some sort of HD shotty. Preferably an 870 marine magnum but a mossy 590 would fit the bill as well. I'd also eventually like to build a 20 or 22" AR in .308 to go along with the carbine.

I'd LOVE to give that PS90 a try.

I wish it was a fun switch, it's a poser engraving though! The thought of $15,000 for a registered lower just doesn't sit well with me quite yet! Some year.

And if you buy the ammo for the PS90, I have no problem with people shooting it. I stocked up what ammo I wanted to for the gun, and I'm keeping it around for a while. It's anywhere from $20-30 for 50 rounds, and with 50 round mags they tend to go quick. A lot of us here shoot at Classic Pistol in Southamptom, and I'm not sure what ranges are out by you (you probably have open land to just go **** around on).

I just picked this up from my Grandfather, it's a US ARMY COLT 1911, from 1944....the finish is better than what the picture makes it out to be, and the action is just ridiculously smooth!

And a range report from my 9mm AR pistol....

I'm using Winchester White Box, the gun is a double star lower and RRA upper with 9" TROS barrel. After sighting the gun in with a cheap halographic NC STAR optic, this thing is dead nuts accurate!!!! I am using Colt 32 round pre ban mags, and had FTF's 2 times total, n the last round of the mag out of 250 rounds.

I went to classic pistol and sighted the gun in for 25 yards, and than took it back to 20 yards and kept the target there.

The main group in the picture is 29 rounds RAPID CONTROLLED FIRE, and the 3 head shots are the last 3 rounds of the day, first one using the optic, and just pulling the trigger 3 consecutive times as fast as humanly possible!

I still have to try my beta c mag, and I am going to pick up a bunch of c products 32 rounders to see if I still have an occasional FTF on the last round.

If you have an AR, I HIGHLY rec you pick up a 9mm upper!!!! It's WELL worth the money, just as or more fun than shooting .223, and cheaper!

Since this is a gun thread, anyone interested in a Ruger P89TH?? Only has about 1,000 rounds through it comes with case and 3 mags. 1 is extended.

I'll post up pics of the boys tonight

Hey there guys. How much is it to rent something over at CP? I haven't shot a gun in 5 years and would like to get back to doing it regularly. I also have heard that getting a carry permit in Philly is a nightmare of process, is that true?

BradC, the target was at 20 yards.

Roto, here is a link to classic pistol...

http://www.classicpistol.com/rentals_rates_info.asp
If you are looking to rent, you WILL save money doing their rental package for $49.99.

I've also heard of nightmares and acquiring your CCW in Philly, if you go to www.pafoa.org some of the members can walk you through it.

Lastly, I just got back from placing an order on an FS2000 with factory optics/1.6x scope. I also ended up ordering another lower with the grim reaper on it . The FS2000 standard seems to be a pretty rare item, only 5 of them got shipped to the FN distributor last month for 60 different FN dealers, so I'm just going to need patience to wait for it.

Hey ITSTOCK, since you are in PA why did you go for the PS90 instead of the P90?

Garret, it wasn't me. The last time that I was at an outdoor shooting range was last summer, and that was just trap shooting at Wicens.

MPowerKai, the P90 is illegal for ANY civilian, no matter what state or status. Since it was made after the 1986 ban, there are literally 0 civilian transferable P90's.

Gotta love the .50 cal

M4

M9

I've also shot the 249, and M16.

I want to get a gun to mess around with but I have to wait til I go to MI to get one since it will be easier and I'm a resident there.

i went to classic pistol last monday and had a chance to shoot a short barrel AR. really nice gun to shoot (minimal recoil for a rifle) sounds awesome.

Also shot a Glock 17. another nice gun.

Wait, but when I went for my Utah firearms carrying ID the guy said he moved to PA because he could buy a machine gun.
