where to go for stock parts?

just wondering where you guys buy parts from? i was in pep boys the other day and got some prices on some things i need... it hit me that they must be making a killing. so ofcourse i turn too the computer haha

im talking about parts like timing belt kit, oil filter thermostat spark plug wires accessory belts...

apparently, theres ripoff sites, and good sites. i generally think that the sites that offer free shipping for over 50 bucks are ripoff sites.

i placed a pretty good order at rockauto. im definatly pleased with how it went so far, awesome prices, good catalog setup, but this all means nothing if they dont send me what i ordered. just ordered this morning so i guess ill let you know how they do when i get my parts in

so where do you guys go for this crap?

Why don't you try your dealership..

Ebay is always good too.

I buy stuff from everythingnissan.com (also everythinginifiniti and everythingg20). Gspec.com (Greg V) can also get OEM parts. Also check courtesy Nissan.

I have bought brakes from Rock auto too. So far they are the cheapest rotors I have bought, but they have lasted the longest.

I haven't had to buy any stock parts cause my 2005 NEON (srt-4) hasn't had a single issue.

Hell the stock clutch and stock brakes are working just fine after 2 years and 38,000 miles

so in short... I don't know, but I suppose I'd go to the dealership... or Ray

oh nice im def glad to hear rockauto worked for you. they emailed me today saying they shipped everything out. lets see the timing belt and tensioner for my vg30e was 43 dollars, ngk spark plug wire set was like 38 i think (unheard of cheap) 170* thermostat was 8 dollars for the VG... (usually around 20 dollars) the funny part is oil filters were 2 dollars a pop so i bought 4 for my ka24e's and 3 for the VG
