Well, that's why I said I bounced around a bit when I was out of highschool. Chances of you landing a really good job fresh with no experience is slim. If you are in the field or are learning it in school or whatever, a good way to get let's say experience with hardware and repairing would be to find a private owned PC repair shop and try to work there for a little while, or even (I hate to say this) but a place like Best Buy's tech support (even though I personally think they suck and are morons) but that's a good place to get your feet wet and start gaining some knowledge.

From what I understand, Best Buy techs make like I dunno, I think like $17-$19/hr. While that's not great, it's not bad either. If you make more then that, then why are you worried about getting a different career? I mean, aside from wanting to advance. Are you hurting for money or anything?

My father owns a construction company and I use to work for him as I grew up, while still in school. Trust me, I know how that kinda work can tire a person. And yeah, I use to think I was going to get lung cancer or something with the **** I use to breathe in. You should see 1 picture of me and my brother covered from head to toe in white suits and rebreathers just to work on this one place. NASTY!!

imagine this one... I used to have to wear a full rubber suit head to toe like you see in the movies in the middle of the summer and go into a acid tank to do some work in there... or wear one of those heat suits so we could work in these tank that in operations and it was so ****ing hot that we could only be in there for 15 min. I thought i was cool to finish something while i was in there and i almost passed out after 17 minutes.... I don't want to do that ****

I was thinking about being a cop in Bucks somwhere but I always heard that the pay isn't that good.
if you want to be a cop do it, the pay isnt bad, i never seen one cop in my life struggle with money. you get good pay, benefits, awesome pension id imagine, retire early, get a free car gun and a computer lol.

and you could always move up and be a detective or do something exciting and join the swat team
