The Saturn is owned by a member on here as far as I know. It's basically a stock engine. Cams, Intake Exhaust and a 75 shot. No interior.

1) Yes there are plenty of saturns in the 10's.
2) Cams and a 75 shot with a gut should be hitting low/mid 12's, not highs.
3) 1995lbs isn't that hard to hit. They only weigh a little more than 2250.
4) You're bragging about beating a Saturn? You fail.

Racing as a Saturn owner is an instant win for the driver as it is. Either they beat you, and you lost to a Saturn, or they lose and you wasted your time racing a Saturn.

More than likely. You can easily use the stock engine with cams and a 75 shot so long as the tune is decent. So the driver must have some sort of tuner in that car. Usually, we recommend bottom end swaps when approaching and passing the 300fwhp mark. Typically, we don't like to use the stock internals due to the engineers being SMRT and forgetting to drill oil drain holes into the control landing on the piston. This is why Saturns tend to burn oil later in life. The oil just forces past the rings.

Yea I was there that night but didnt get to see the race! But thats no 11 sec srt! The saturn ran a 12.9 even if you ran a 11.9 you should blew past him like he was in reverse. Espically because of the srt's traction problems. A 11 sec srt would be a roll monster. Either way good races but horrible music.

You're the only guy in the area I've seen drive a bolt-on SRT4 faster than the guys with turbo upgrades...

Ok buddy I just beat my friends 03 cobra with bassini catback, jlt intake, lower pulley, and a tuner. He said it has about 450whp and he ran 12.00 @118 and I beat him from a roll on pump gas at 22.5psi. I would post the video but im not trying to get flamed for street racing when everyone does it. Im trapping between 119-121 on my setup right now. If I can't run an 11 trapping 120 then I need a driver mod. This would have to be the most immature forum ive ever posted on. All I did was post a video of my car and im automatically bragging?? All you guys do is post up negative comments. Keep them to yourself and just chill out.

Im sorry dad I won't do it again. I don't ever race with people in my car that was the first time. He only traps 106 and I trap 119-121 and he wanted to do a roll...I told him he had no chance so we just added people to my car.

If you dont mind what turbo are you running and what supporting mods do you have? Cause 119-121 is a hell of a mph. Do you have any traction help? slicks, traction bars etc........ Im not doubting your car its just that 120 in the quater your car should be a monster from a roll. It didnt seem that way on the video. As far as street racing you will never get flamed from me, Im no hipocrit.

Judging your quarter from a roll is nowhere near accurate.

That's like saying a 1500whp supra runs 7's, but in reality, it only runs 13's. It will destroy you from a roll, though!

Thats my point excatly! If the saturn runs a 12.9 with great traction and the srt runs a 11.xx with no traction. Shouldn't the srt be a monster from a roll being that he makes all his time up in top end! The saturn probably pulls pretty consistent all the way through. Meaning in all reality the srt should blow by him up top!
