need a supra specialist in nj help

hey whats up everyone im kevin this is my first post on this forum. I have a wrx with sti 2.5 swap with some mods all performed by myself, I have this supra (7mgte) picked it up pretty cheap and was told it had a popped head gasket and front end damage. so i took it apart and put the new headgasket big fmic full exhaust and intake and welded on a whole new front end and now it runs but isnt driveable. It studders bad when you give it gas and im not too sure what the problem is and my subeys cams decided to beat the crap out of my valves and im out of a vehicle and need the supra fixed asap. Its throwing an engine code but i only have an obd2 scanner and not enough time with work . So anyway enough of my sob story i was wondering if you guys know of any supra specialists that would know what there doing or any shop that knows a decent amount about older supras to fix it. thanks guys

Where are you located in NJ?
And have you check supraforums yet?
There are a few decent places in central jersey that fix em... def hit up supraforums first alot of first hand knowledge.
If you get nothing let me know. There are some knowledgeable guys on here and my bf and his friends drive supras...so there is def help out there.
You might wanna invest in a 1j.

I live out in jackson.....i have checked supra forums but most places arent local and i dont wnat to take it to a big shop like turbo trix cause they will charge me out the ass. I dont really care to go used 1j because the way i see it i would pay like 3-4g's to get the engine when i would rather throw 4 g's in a 7mgte and be a lot faster and have a fully internally built engine instead of another stock engine that who knows when its gonna blow up you know...i saw the subey on myspace too bad theres nothin behind that hood scoop huh ;) haha jp

Depends on how you look at it...my BF blew 2 7m's and his friend blew probably 3. He's never had problems with his 1j's...went big single on both. Things are beast!
But umm you could try E-shift performance in sayreville area. Bf had is supra worked on there and they have supra meets there.
Yeah i know the WRX i wanted sold before i got to the lot that day...couldnt pass the deal up on this car. Basically a wrx without a turbo for only 8 grand.
plus it kept my BF away from trying to mod it... so i go to do what i wanted to it
