they all seem a little dark to me, try adjusting the brightness a bit unless you have a raw editor

couple of them are a tad underexposed. the first one and the 2nd and 3rd puppy photos are pretty good. definitely an improvement from the first post. keep it up

How is the exposure showing up on the camera? The image looks to be underexposed by at least 2/3 stop. You were shooting in manual mode but your viewfinder and histogram should've hinted at underexposure. The first few shots I take after getting my settings adjusted, I look at the histogram and the thumbnail. The histogram is a good general tool to use to see if the image is properly exposed.

Exposure Time = 1/125"
F Number = F3.5
Exposure Program = Manual
ISO Speed Ratings = 100
Date Time Original = 2007-11-16 22:49:35
Date Time Digitized = 2007-11-16 22:49:35
Exposure Bias Value = ±0EV
Metering Mode = Pattern
Flash = Flash did not fire, compulsory flash mode
Focal Length = 18mm
Color Space = sRGB
Custom Rendered = Normal process
Exposure Mode = Manual exposure
White Balance = Auto white balance
Scene Capture Type = Normal

that's your EXIF data from your image. I'm just telling you that your settings are off. Bump up your ISO to 200 on a cloudy day like that or change the settings to something around ISO 100, f/3.5, 1/80 and that image would've been exposed better. On cold days, I usually don't like going below 1/80 or 1/100 shutter speeds, so I would've gone with something around ISO 160, 1/100, f/3.5.
