Ordered a new stratocaster today from Guitar Center. They had a 20% off sale for any one-item in the store, and I took advantage of it.

I was eyeing up some PC games, but I did not see any deals on what I was looking for. I might go grab a Chillstream Gamepad from CC tomorrow if I can find it.

Between me and my roommate we dropped $2400 bucks yesterday on ourselves haha. We bought:
Samsung surround sound system.
xbox 360 with 2 free games, and a free extra cntrlr (i have one, but now we have 2! hah)
a laptop
tons of games/dvd's
a digi cam corder

my friend with me spent 1k himself.
ps3 came with 5 free blue ray movies and free contoller
bought like 6 ps3 games
the same surround sound as us

yea we went to circuit city at 3:30am and ended up being the first 100 in line because of some idiots not realizing the line moved and we walked up the curb and into a huge gap in the line lolz.

Only thing I bought was Ratatouille on dvd for $12 at Walmart. Usually its around $19-$20. I didn't go anywhere near early morning crowds. Went at 8 am after the storm and got right in and out with what I needed. Got my best deals on Monday at Circuit City with $2.99 dvds and a pack of 100 cd-r's for $10 which usually go for $40.

Ratatouille normally sells at walmart for $14 and change (a friend was going to buy it last week), but you still saved a few bucks.

The only "doorbuster" I was interested in was the PS3 deal that Walmart had starting this Sat. morning at 8am. The 80gb PS3 with 1 controller and Motorstorm was still $499, but it came with your choice of 10 blu-ray movies in-store, as well as the additional 5 through the mail-in offer that has been running on all blu-ray devices for months. Not a bad deal considering the movies sell for $20-30 each, and I didn't even go to the store until noon today.
