In the LE world those cops are usally d-bags that are way too gunghoe, begged their supervisor to do it and love doing "real POlice work" way too much. Its so retarded. Doing undercover, if you want to even use that phrase, work to bust streetracers is beyond dumb. In 2001, NHTSA found that on average between 0.20-0.30% of all yearly traffic fatalities were related to street racing.

IMO: That time could be better used somewhere else.
