Automotive activists?

I've got a paper to write for a class on dissent in america and the prof wants us to pick a protest or activist group in the delaware valley to research. I'm not in the mood to write about the war protesters or abortions so I'm wondering if anyone knows of any local groups that fight for the rights of enthusiasts in any way shape or form.

Any help is appreciated,thanks.

I know Sema has been doing this stuff for years. It may be somewhere to start researching or finding supporting material.

Edit: Reference the Magnuson-Moss Act.

I can't think of any automotive groups, but you could look up ABATE. That's a motorcyclist group that worked on repealing the mandatory helmet law in PA.

I already wrote the paper. Its due tomorrow so I didn't really leave much time to find a group to do it on. I ended up writing it about some animal rights group.

I was hoping to find something like that because its something that I could actually benefit from other than just write about but after trying to sort through different google searches for well over an hour I gave up. I'll take a look for that article after class tomorrow.
