So my friend is buying an SRT8

but (maybe a stupid question but she asked me and i'm going to tell her tomorrow) she has her license taken away until april but she's getting a work license. she has 10k for a down payment and only has a state id card.

she's asking if she can still buy a car with just having the state id card because she needs the car now or say she'll let me drive it until she gets her work license and i can pick her up for work and take her back home (we work at the same job) until she gets her work license.

that is all. oh, btw she won a case and thats why she has a lot of money for the down payment and the rest she's using for school.

She'll be fine as long as she has proof of insurance

yeap, right now her current car is insured and she's paying for it even though she can't drive it. thx alot!

also. she has severe piston slap and thats why she's buying a new car. she would kick start the car cuz the starter was bad. i installed a new starter yesterday for her and today she got stuck on 82 with this loud pinging sound. its sooo loud though so she's ditching it.

Cherokee ftw. Either that or the Magnum. Some seriously cool cars.

Charger= too tacky.

The Charger in Black is sick IMO, although the new Magnum has more of a Charger look to the front end now. Personally though I'd run with the Cherokee in Black

I was looking on a Hennessy website and I read that one of the packages was an additional 45K.

Yea, I'd LOVE to spend 27,000$ for an SRT600 PACKAGE. On top of the car.

Even though the Cherokee Srt-8 is obnoxious and gets 11-12 mpg, its a screaming bargain $$ wise and it looks simply badass. Car and Driver tested one with the Hennessey Package and got 8-9 mpg with it during their test period..
