and told me a white 06 with gold wheels came in. And i am thinking about buying it so yea. I have to see the combo in person on that car but if i like it there is a chance i will buy it. I don't know why i am being stupid i really should be happy with my car and not worry about it, however i like the '06 and i think i am gonna like it in the combo. I really should be spending money on a diesel beater but well we will see i am probably going wednesday so i will keep you all updated.

I concur, the 06 is still hideous in my opinion. Hasnt even started to grow on me, gross gross gross.........just my .02. But if that what you want, good luck man!

I dunno, really.

When I first saw the pics of it, I was disgusted. After seeing it in person, I love it. I think that the front end is pretty sleek. Looks tougher IMO than the previous STi style. I like the hood scoop better, the headlights better, and the overall shape better. The tail lights are teh suck, and so is the second spoiler out back.

But overall, it's my second favorite US spec turbo inpreza. Bugeyez > 2006 impreza > 04/05 impreza

+1 for the '06 headlights- but i still hate teh pig nose, but if you look on the cover of the most recent sport compact magazine, that car looks pretty sick... (might just bethe fact that the pic is so dark u can't see the grill...)

barry, werent you just complaining about your car insurace cost? i can't imagine the 06 being any cheaper???????

the car doesn't matter anymore i have it basically maxed out... when i got my sti it went down form my s4

The front that actually has some character to it rather than the complete blandness that is the 04/05. While some may not like the 06, at least it has enough styling to not be liked by some. I think it's a huge improvement, and I want one.

Barry, if you get one, we have to have a go while it's still stock.

I think i disagree with the whole "more aggressive front end". I think that the 04-05's are more aggressive. I dont like the badging on the 06 at all, i dont like the cheaply thrown together area where the fog covers were on the 04-05's. But, suprisingly the wing on the rear windshield doesnt kill me that much. I just dont like the looks at all. That Tommy Kaira grill DRASTICALLY cleans up the front end though, i think that grill is a must! Just my .02. Its still a subie though, so i love it......just not much at all, hehe.

I think that Tommy Kaira piece in the entire bumper. Up around 2 grand.
