Well here is the other project thats going even slower than my cavalier. It's the 02 Focus Sedan, This is my girlfriends car. It's the LX model so it's base line right down to not even having ABS. It's a 2.0 SOHC engine with auto trans. It's got 20% tint, debadged, Air box resonator removed, Added gauge cluster with tach, Pioneer CD player, Remote Starter and keyless entry. I painted the mirror caps red to match the car and it's currently in the bodyshop getting the collision damage repaired and getting a spoiler installed.

right after the car was purchased

tint and mirrors painted

Collision damage, new Factory wheel covers, spoiler before paint just sitting on the car

Keep it the way it is, if you try to modify you will waste any attempt to make progress.

Do you ever have any trouble with your tinted windows in DE? I want to get a 35% tint all around except the windshield but I dont want to get pulled over and or have to remove it.

Honestly I think the best mod would be removing that...colored stripey thing down the side of the car that makes it look like it got keyed with a vengeance.

It's not my car it's my girlfriends car. Performance mods are only going to consist of a MBRP Catback exhaust, SCT X caliber 2, Volant intake, lowering it, and putting wheels on it.

They will bash anything that isn't ans Evo or STi here...lol, good luck with the proect, just keep it tasteful and conservative and it will look good, I respect nice clean stock looking cars...even if they are slow...

not really true... I really was asking "why?" to figure out... well... why... what is he doing to this car that his g/f wants or needs out of the car, or is it just to say its got stuff done to it. Which is what it seems like to me...

Theres really no point to even put money in the engine since its going to be slow regardless since its the slowest of all focuses. Even the svt isnt that much faster then most cars

It's just to make the car more drivable, I would like to make the car a little bit safer on her end so she would atleast be somewhat able to pull out into traffic. I enjoy modding cars even if some people feel that it's not worth it. I like to mess with them and it makes me happy to do so why not.

Why do you have to jump into everything thats said. Okay it makes the car more stable in the turns, It will stop better. It's more responsive incase she had to hurry up and avoid something. I shouldn't have to explain every mod thats done. I thought this site was for people to talk about the mods that are being done not just to get shot down all the time because someone thinks "they are better then everyone else". It also adds some more appearence to the car and makes it look better as well. Also I like messing with something different.
