SRT-4 Crash kills Chester County Teen

Quote:
CRASH KILLS TEEN: A Chester County, Pa., teenager died Wednesday from injuries he suffered in a car accident Monday. Pennsylvania State Police said the 16-year-old, whose name was not released, was not wearing a seat belt when the 2004 Dodge SRT-4 he drove traveled off the side of the 100 block of Old Kennett Square at 8:45 p.m. The youth's vehicle crashed into an embankment and telephone pole. He was rushed to Christiana Hospital and treated for severe injuries. Police were notified Wednesday of his death.

This happens way too often with these cars! No wonder the insurance is insane!

It probably wasn't the best comment to make, but I can't feel too bad for this kid (his family is another story). Not wearing a seatbelt is just plain stupid! I don't think I will ever understand why some people refuse to wear them. I know people that when shopping for a car, look for cars that will not chime when you are driving without a seatbelt on.

keep talking trash on SRT-4's, or you're going to be looking at the ass end of mine soon enough. either that or do a few donuts and hit a pole.

granted everyone is responsible for their own actions, and its unfortunate that it had to happen in that severity. younger kids shouldn't be given a fast car to drive though right off the bat nomatter how much driving experience they've had prior.

Nope. I don't know the kid and he made a stupid decision (not wearing his seatbelt). I would expect you or anyone else to feel bad for me or anyone I know had they died because of their own stupidity.

Not really. You just feel I'm a moron because I have no emotional attachment to this kid.

You hit the nail right on the head. I always wear my seatbelt in my slow ass cars and anyone else's cars.

comments like this negate your arguement, and anything you say in this thread really.
