Anybody know a simple way to cut pieces out of a song or other audio clip? The reason I ask is because I just got a new phone and want to take certain sounds to make them my message alerts and such. Any help is greatly appreciated

haha well theres probably going to be a bunch and its probably something that will come in handy down the line. Is there a small simple program to use so I don't have to go download a whole audio editing program?

CoolEdit I think is still free and should be simple enough to do what you want.

download.com --> search ---> audacity get the beta 1.3.3, i had trouble getting the 1.2 version to edit music.

the super lazy way is play it on ur speakers and record it with your mic lol

I LOVE Sony's Sonic-Foundry and Soundforge.

IMO it doesn't get better and easier than that.
