A '07 STi is probably engineered well enough to launch hard enough off the line to beat a stock '06 GTO at a race track.

No doubt, I'm confident in my car roasting a GTO, stock or somewhat modded. Hell, my spec-v did it with less power. But like I said, I barely ever redline/floor my car, or race it around town or at the track. I'm OCD with this car, I don't want to torture the drivetrain. I certainly know if I went to cecil, I'd keep going down the track over and over.. and I don't want to do it in this car. I have some secrets planned for a project car that will see most of its time at road courses and the 1/4. So until then... all I can do is wait.

Hey.. I got a ride in it last night, and I like it. It's definitely a different car than his stang, but it's better on gas and has a lot of potential.
