I just hope that this "mishap" was a way of flexing our muscles towards Iran (and perhaps also N. Korea). 6 nuclear warheads, locked, loaded, and ready to go on some nice long range missiles! ****ING RIGHT. We've got so many nuclear warheads and long range cruise missiles that accidentally loading up and/or losing 6 ain't ****.
Sorry man, I just get annoyed when people laugh at others for wanting to acheive something. Nothing against you, we just have so many lazy ****s in this country who try and skate by with minimal effort and maximum government support, it is refreshing to see that there are actually people who care.

On the issue of the "message" to NK or Iran, I agree. Minimal research would show that the weapons were moved to a base where a Squadron of B-2 stealth bombers operate from. Just a nice, hey, remember how we have stealth and you can't touch it? Yeah, they can now be armed with nukes at a moments notice, your move. Care to negotiate?

A Contractor is responsible for all subcontractor actions. Sorry, it's simple fact. However, contractors have nothing to do with this. The researchers were EMPLOYEES of the Air Force, and the AIR FORCE OFFICIALS approved the research. In the end, it was shot down, but the AIR FORCE was still responsible for researching GAY BOMBS. An example is, again, an AIR FORCE PILOT is ordered to bomb a church. It is the responsibility of the AIR FORCE, who gave orders, to do so. If you can't understand that, I'm sorry. If officials at a company or agency approve research and grant money, it is the company or agencies responsibility. Sorry that you don't like it, but it's how the REAL WORLD works. You can't grasp it so I won't explain farther.

What does it have to do with transporting weapons? Absolutely nothing, other than someone else brought it up, and was called a moron for doing so.

But then again they didn't spend any money on that proposal. Yes they may pay for the research lab and pay the checks of the researchers. If they come up with something the DoD may or may not pay pay for the research to go through. Of course thats what they are paid for, to think outside the box and thats why I think the US military has been on top for this long. The ultimate goal was to create a non-lethal weapon to be used against enemy troops. Quoted from the Fox news article "The proposal also offered other ideas, such as a "sex attractant" chemical that would make "annoying and injurious creatures" like stinging bugs more aggressive and draw them to the enemy's position. Another chemical would leave such a strong stench, the enemy would be detectable for weeks."

As crazy as the idea sounds I think it would be hilarious to see someone walking around dropping beehives.

I didn't read the rest of your reply, sorry. What I got from the first couple of sentences is that they are representing the AIR FORCE. I guess that I fail to see an argument.

His point is some kid sitting behind a desk with no Air Force training, and who is not paid directly by the AF, probably came up with the idea of the gay bomb.

So this guy who said "hey heres a good idea, lets make the enemies gay." represents the ideas of the entire AF, even though no further research was ever taken or funded?!?!

Basically, this guy, with no AF training or affiliation came up with the idea, and thats it. Doesnt mean the AF researched it, looked into it, spent money on it, or anything of the sort.

NO. You don't need to type with out reading, NOBODY stated that this represent the ideas of the entire AF, other than you.

Heh just like the Air Force had the bright idea of a gay bomb.
The Air Force DID have the bright idea of the gay bomb, and if you would have went back and read the above quote, you would be able to understand. Or just go back and read all of the posts since you obviously skipped everything but the last thing I typed (which is fine, just don't hit the reply button). An Air Force research team represents the Air Force, not all of their idea's, but as a collective unit, as an AIR FORCE research team, when something happens, it's part of the AIR FORCE.

"no AF training"

The AF has LOTS of "employees". Not everyone is a crewman or pilot. Yes, the AF officials considered the idea, allowed money to be funded to the research project, and experimented. This isn't some "kid sitting behind a desk".

It doesn't represent the entire Air Force, but it is an idea that came out of the Air Force. Again, this is simple fact, whether you like it or not. To state that "this guy, with no AF training or affiliation" is just complete ignorance. The research team worked for an AIR FORCE RESEARCH TEAM, WAS PAID BY THE AIR FORCE, located at the AIR FORCES OWN WRIGHT RESEARCH FACILITY, on WRIGHT PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, and was granted money by the AIR FORCE.

I don't know why you are arguing FACTUAL information that anyone can look up . This is just a stupid debate. Go back, read my posts, take it in, and say, "hell, this guy is right. I clicked on one of the million links that he posted, I researched a little on my own, and perhaps I shouldn't have argued all of these facts that this idea came out of the AIR FORCE".
