It's high noon, Apple and AT&T -- we really hate to break it to you, but the jig is up. Last night the impossible was made possible: right in front of our very eyes we witnessed a full SIM unlock of our iPhone with a small piece of software. It's all over, guys.....

Now all we are waiting for is the hacking team to release it to public. Of course it cost a few bucks, but the guys deserve it.

That Nokia has been out for years....my only draw back from getting it is that it does not have 3G or any broadbang capabilities. (Unless they updated it)

It seems like most people don't care about 3G (let alone know what it is). The iPhone, Blackberries, and many other popular phones only have EDGE capabilities. I'm still waiting for a 3G blackberry.

On that note, AT&T legal has flexed their muscle and has stalled the release of this iPhone unlock software, for now at least. The company is going to see what legal rights they have to sell/release this software. I think AT&T is scared that they will have to have something else (Such as improved network reliability (gasp)) to draw customers if the iPhone can be used on other GSM networks.

A 3G Blackberry = New Pearl (Coming soon) I consider 3G and EDGE the same thing, just 3G is newer and faster. But, they are both broadband "type" access connections. I think when they come out with V2 of the iPhone it will be more bad ass.
