xbox 360 released some prices today. 300 for basic unit with no hard drive and a wired controller. 400 for the top of the line unit with bluetooth controller, 20gig hard drive loaded with mp3's, videos, demos and live content, remote control for dvds, ethernet cable, hdmi cables, and xbox live headset.

also the top of the line system with the hard drive allows you too

save tv shows sort of a tivo like ability
can rip cds onto the harddrive

This sounds pretty on base with what i thought it was going to cost anyways. sony and market analyst are saying ps3 will be upwards of 400 possibly more than 500.

The launch date for xbox 360 is supposed to be announced in oct at some game conference in amsterdam that microsoft is throwing.
