the words exotic/supercar aren't words that describe old bmw's.
Those cars look like the jap cars of the same time period. Fairlady Z?

how many old BMW's do you see selling at the main Barrett/Jackson car auction?
exactly

Vintage BMW's are great little cruisers. They have tons of character, they handle road coarses better than most new cars, and they weren't mass production vehicles. Thanks for posting that Barry!

All i see is muscle cars but those are cool too. What does something being at B/J have anything to do with cool amazing classic cars...
Mike thanks for the thanks.

It's cool to know someone still has an appreciation for those things. 2002's make great canidates for m3 engine conversions and general performance mods. I owned one for 2 weeks... bought it for $350, towed it home, rebuilt the carb., waxed it. Its first trip was to the gas station where some dude offered me $4000. Needless to say, SOLD!!

Barret Jackson is not the place for European cars. It is mostly televised to overinflate the musclecar prices. It also ruined the muscle car market for the average person by making it a rich person's market. I hope I never see a vintage BMW on there. And dont get me started on the $40000 Austin Mini that wasn't even a Cooper- JUNK just like the one I drive

I would totally rock the 2002 Turbo. I like the 2002 body style, always have. Like the old Audi rally cars, just something "race" about them.

I have always loved the way they have looked. I started liking them with the R33's. But with the Z Tune whats not to like? Hand built, 10 second 1/4's out of the box. Don't get much better then that!

Still, you have to consider that I can get a whole fleet of tuned FD RX-7s, R32s and a S15 for the price of that R34.
