Need some advice real quick...

Gettin my alignment tommorow, havent driven the car in a few days. I got some new rubber and I need to know if this ride height and balance of front and rear height looks good to everyone. Basically looking for a few opinions before i bring it in tommorow for an alignment and set the ride height in stone. Front too high, back too high? let me know

thanks.

i would go a little lower up front

as you lower a given side of the car, the weight shifts to the opposite side (i.e. opposite of "jacking weight" into the car (corner balance term))

given that 240s are slightly front heavy and push usually, especially if suspension is stock and if you have a KA, i would go maybe 1/2 inch lower in front, not so much for looks as functionality

just my guess

looks good tho

as sad as it is to say this, functionality isnt really a concern anymore.

Im sick of this car, I just want to set it up and get it so I can drive it without problems for the upcoming school year...

If it keeps pissin me off Ill be driving the white POS in the corner of the first pic, its gettin that annoying lol.

And its not stock suspension, or else it would never be that low, i can adjust the dampening to account for the weight shift

Lower the front a little.

What are you going to have it aligned to?

I'd run a little more in the front than in the rear. Maybe -2.5 to -3 somewhere around there.

another 0.5" lower in the front *or* raise the rear by 0.5"

front toe out, rear toe in, about 1/8" of an inch. the negative rear toe will helps give the rear end more traction as you're coming out of a corner. the toe out in the front improves the vehicle turn in response without making the car feel twitchy at high speeds in a straight line.

well im waking up early and dropping it another half inch in the front and rolling the fenders all around...

tryin to have 0 toe to keep tire wear to the minimum..

will try to get the camber about -3f/-2.5r, but it all really depends on what i can get with the stock suspension

1/8" or 1/16" of toe out in the front won't cause any wear issues. you get the benefit of a quicker steering response without killing your tires. anything more than 1/4" is excessive (though autoXers don't care too much about tire wear). toe is easy to adjust on most cars, just a matter of loosening a locknut and then adjusting the tie-rod.
