Sell my car and buy an EVO....lol....just kidding. I want to try and custom fab an aftercooler so i can up the boost towards the 16psi region. The only cooling available for the Focus with the Jackson Racing supercharger is water-meth. I want to do an air-water like the cobalts. (they use the same supercharger)

260-280whp and 220wtq. I just want to build the first aftercooler for the jackson racing Focus.....a lot of Focus owners have the kit cause of how cheap it was compared to other intercooled FI options. Would like to help everyone out, maybe make a buck too.

NA SVT Focus is anywhere around 152whp plus or minus a couple. Torque is around the 135ft-ibs range. I dont know about the other zetecs....would guess 130 and 120-125.

those numbers arent too bad...if you got a custom tune somewhere you could get a lot more out of it especially if you did some fuel system upgrades. its running really rich though as of right now. but i guess its safe.

Congrats man. It's all a work in progress ya know...I need to get mine dyno tuned as well. Dyno tuning will open you up for much more, slight timing and fuel adjustments and you will be more then on your way to the numbers that you want to see. Keep them updates comin.

Yea I'm really busy now and days working a lot and going to school from 630-1245 then work from 130 to 7 so I dont spend too much time online. The reason I dont go on the focus forums anymore is because I know everything about the car from bumper to bumper so there is nothing else I can learn on there.About sellin the svtf I still plan on doing it, but I drive to school now 35 miles each way on the highway so I dont wanna buy a new car until im done in january, but the car is still a blast to drive and no problems so far, its all in the tune. After I just completed my nitrous install thats it for this car though, time to start saving money up for mods for he next car which will be a c5 z06.

Dry Shot through the supercharger? Or did you direct port each runner for a wet shot?

About the Ford Racing Tune and Ford Racing's final word.

Its official, Ford Racing plans on doing nothing, kinda as expected. Just got off the phone with Ray Herron again, he already knew the answer to my email about redynoing the car with the stock airbox. He just couldnt spend the time replying to my email I guess, or he might actually have been working on other projects this morning.

They state that the intake temperature at the filter of 89 degrees is why the numbers are down and why the car is running a rich fuel mixture, pulling timing. He stated that putting in the stock box may help the numbers and Improve A/F ratios. Funny, I thought putting in the stock box might make it run even Richer, maybe not with the Drop In filter?.

So basically you should get under 200whp with the JRSC BBK on an SVT Focus with a rich a/f ratio during summer seasons. So Eat it lol.

Would it have been so difficult for me to email them my ECU again and them lean it out to a WOT A/F of 11.0?!?

Haha not saying anything about the nitrous it took me a long time to fabricate it and im pretty sure Im the only one that has it and I want to keep it that way.

And yes it would be very difficult for them to re-tune the car with it not in front of you. Every car is different and the tiniest changes in the tune can screw it up even worse. That is why off the shelf tunes, in my opinion are terrible.

Full of secrets....I think full of poop. Bring that damn thing to a meet for once!

True on the tuning subject....but a little more timing to the equation when its 90 degrees outside? Would it hurt across the spectrum, probably not. Just net another 5whp at least.

The ZX2 is rated around 130 hp and tq at the crank. I have pullies, intake, exhaust, and SCT X-Cal 2 and am predicting making around 130 - 135 whp and wtq. Nothing special but its alright.

One of my friends up from up here that graduated has a SVT focus, they arent bad cars but I dont like the kit he has on his.

I used to have a Zinc Yellow ZX2 S/R and it was rated for 143 hp and 136 tq at the crank.

I personally would rather go turbo on these motors, but I have gotten away from modding this engine much. There are a few ZX2 guys that have swapped in the SVT internals and run around turbod pushing mid 200 hp range.

Ill probably port and polish the head myself and then get it milled to 10.5:1 compression and after that, save my money.

Woops. I forgot thats where the 2.0l Zetec was rated. So I would think 120-115 to the wheels for regular zetecs.

What kid does your buddy have? Another Jackson Racing Supercharger?

True, Turbos are nice on SVT Focus Motors.....a lot of people pushing 210whp and 220 wtq before intercooling and 330whp and 280 wtq when intercooled. Just those cost $4,500 plus before having to upgrade trans parts. Got to pay to play, and I only had $2,250 to spend when I got my supercharger.

Last I heard, he was getting "sponsored" or something and that had to do with the Jackson Racing Supercharger. His name is Dave but we call him "Caveman." I personally dont like his car but he is a cool kid and we used to hang out after school till he graduated.

Here are 2 pics of his car from TunerWars in Harrisburg back in Feb.
