im not taking sides here but my friend was the one in the camaro and he always does burnouts... you guys cant say you didnt hear people yelling to him to light em up... hes the kind of guy who wont turn down a challenge... and burnouts are no more illegal than anybody not running cats which i kno a lot of people on this thread are. it is a way bigger fine for removing emissions control devices than wreckless driving. so the KOP PD prolly wouldnt appreciate that. now i dont agree with street outlawz opinions on a "nice" car or anything nor do i think it is appropriate to race down a packed parking lot. i dont do stupid stuff like that so im not standing up for either side. my car was right there too and it wasnt cheap so its not like i appreciate the race cars trying to do their best one-tire 6 inch burnout.

If they are willing to pay $10 to race on the streets then they may as well take it to a track.
i dont know whats worse... the idea of that, or the fact that the rest of those guys think its a smart plan ..lol

I hate to bring this up, and don't take it the wrong way, but sounds like most of our freshworks meets?

Last time I was at FW in holland some *** in a BMW did a smokey burnout and the next week some chick tried to run everyone down with her car. Don't be too quick to judge.

But the Z guy is saying the Camaro dude does this every week? Now that would be cause for some bottle throwing.

And pontiac "dude", give it up. These guys aren't going to see things your way. We are on 2 different sides of the track. We should leave it as "to each his own" and agree to disagree.

And Henry, you are getting a little out of hand. I only recieve.

Eh, I think that you misunderstand. We know this wasn't a TST meet, however when dickheads do burnouts in parking lots, it gives us ALL a bad name.

Not to mention that doing a burnout is about as far from a "challenge" that I can think of, and just shows the mentalitly is no better then the rest of the "ricers". I did a monster burnout once in a 4 cyl Swift. I guess that means I was cool?

Jesus, I really cant believe how they got away with all that. I remember Jon, Fred, and I were asked to leave after 10 minutes of standing in the KOP parking lot trying to figure out what we wanted to do. I dont get how this meet got that big and out of hand without being broken up.

i understand where u are coming from... last month we went down when speedfreaks were there and the cops didnt bother us even with like 6 or 8 cars drifting(some from this forum, at least half), they didnt come till the street outlawz started dragging across the parking lot 4 wide then slamming on their brakes at the end to avoid hitting the curb... i heard that they started racing again last nite and the cops came, i dunno if that is true cuz i left around 10ish but my friend showed up right after i left and he said that the cops came.

This is why some cops profile about the scene.

i forgot to mention some kid was going around to all of my friends and asking if they wanted to throw some money up and race him in his turbo Integra LS... he would ask one person they would say no, hed walk up to the person directly next to them and ask them and keep going down the line.
