Man, it's tough to get your own place out here. Too pricey...My last place was a 2 bedroom apartment with a balcony in SD, and I was only payin like 560 a month for rent. lol...

hell yea it is! The rent in other states is comical compared to here. For instance, my friend in myrtle beach was paying about 690/mo. for a 1 bed/1bath apt. Practically identical unit up here was going for 1150.

Sooo true. With my military discount, I was able to find a decent 2bd townhome with washer and dryer in unit for right around 900. Was originally over a grand. I have to be able to wash my clothes in my place, ya know??

congrats, having your own place rocks.
I'm living out in hershey paying $670 a month for an apartment that'd cost around $900 back in glenside. 800+sq/ft, patio, huge bedroom, huge living room, dining room, kitchen with a washing machine, washer and dryer for clothes, a decent bathroom. I hate central PA, but I love my apartment...and it came with a hot blonde that cooks |

Sounds about right. I believe my apartment is $1250 a month. You can't find any decent apartment around here for less then $1000 a month.

Yea I just mved from living with a friend in his house to renting a condo in yardley. In my research the place I am living at now is $1350/mo. But one that is comparable across the river in NJ, is $1800+ it's crazy how exspensive NJ is to live. And even worse if you are planning on buying a place in NJ. Good lord property taxes... let alone the whole financial decline of the state.
in anycase to the OP. Good luck and enjoy, my first apt was always a good time. |
