The First Annual Derek Ryan Lewis “Crank It Up For The Cure” Auto Show and Concert Series

All proceeds to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and supports children’s cancer research

Saturday, June 23, 2007, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Sonic Drive-In, Morgantown, Pennsylvania

The show is open to all cars, trucks, motorcycles and semi trucks. Entry fee is $20 in advance (by June 10th) or $25 after June 10th or day of show.

Sponsored by Sonic Drive-ins, Tri-State Tuners, JSC Speed, Blouch Turbo, Valley Automotive Consulting, Sign Effects (www.signgirl.com), and DJ ThatGuy (www.djthatguy.com).

Live bands! Vocal concert!

Music/master of ceremonies provided by DJ ThatGuy.

Bands Include:
Modus Operandi (jon patton's band)
The Marck Brothers Band (dylan aka onbadgoat's band)
and More TBA!

Arrivals for the show accepted as early as 12 noon, the show runs from 2 pm – 8pm, with awards given out at 8. The concert series begins at 7pm and ends at 10 pm.

This is a non-profit charity event authorized and allowed by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Greater Delaware Valley Division, Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter and complies with exemption rules under Section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

we will have a flyer and entry form up as soon as we get the website up. any questions post up.

If you guys need a PA, theres a good chance we can use my bands. It's fairly big..I'll have the specs tonight if need be.

I have a race that day but I might come by with the camaro after the race because it is close to Morgantown. I will be trailering the camaro there if I end up going. I think count me in for this.

Ok cool... let me know if you need to borrow anything... Mics, Cables, Mixing Board (24ch 8buss), Stands, etc....

The things needed that ive run into gigs are always cables, mics, and stands. And extension cords..we run with like 2 ext. cords (just in case!) and 2 splitters. More the merrier though..nah mean?

I have a DJ coming with a new amp and speakers...he uses IPods...pretty cool. We'll actually want to use one setup for the bands, with a board and PA system, and the DJ guy will handle the other music and Jon and I (mostly) will do announcements through his system.

The DJ will be there around 11, I want to start his music at 12. IF AT ALL possible, I'd like to have you guys (Dylan) there before noon, and you could go on at 2-3 or whenever you like. Heck, play two sets if you want. 1:00 is fine, too. We can meet up at an oaks or Exton meet and discuss the band scheduling, once I hear from the third band, or any others than Jon talks with.

With only 3 bands, picking and choosing your playing time is easy, since the other stuff can be dropped in around the bands.
