Pimp my Ride actually did something nice!

Anyone seen the episode where they did the 65 Impala SS and stuffed a duramax diesel and than turboed it. No hideous paintjob, no bodykit. I was amazed. Anyone else see this episode they actually restored the car quite well.

haha, I'm trying to find what it ran in the 1/4 right now. Worked out diesels are easily in the 600+rwhp/1000+rwtq range, that car had to rip! Yes, it was cool to see them build something respectable!

I can't find 1/4 times yes, but...

800hp and over 1400tq out of that duramax.

EDIT: I read somewhere low 11's on the street tires, not too shabby!

Don't you think thats gonna be wrapped around a tree after the driver was use to driving it stock?

It looks hot as hell though.

Don't you think when a 16 year old buys an SRT4, or a STi, or the like, the same thing?

Sorry, just pickin' a fight.

They'll be ok. Rarely are those cars kept. And isn't going to be given to Arnold?!

800hp and 1400tq I'm yet to see a 16yo driving an srt or sti with those numbers. Infact, I've never seen an srt or sti with that much hp and nowhere near that torque (I know someone will post a link to some car but I mean in person).

And to answer your question, yes, I think the same exact thing when I see a new driver with more power than they can handle.

Nah i think the best one they did was back in the day when it first started with that old school mustang and that surfer chick. She was cute. I think she named it Mattie Mustang.

That's actually really sick.
