lmao....

Ok guys, I did read your comments, but I'm not going to reply to all of you. I wasn't expecting this thread to grow some much like this. If you have any questions from this point on, let me know.

First off, no one pulled over and checked each other's cars. The Neon certainly had a BOV intake and open exhaust system. The bimmer is completely stock V8.

The neon was driving down the road boosting at every chance. At a red light, he told my friend to go at it, so when the light changed they did. The neon guy was driving at WOT. The neon guy let off shortly after shifting into third. They drove side by side afterwards and the neon guy gave my friend the "peace" sign. His girl was laughing and he pinched her LOL.

We were all surprised because although the bimmer is a torque moster compared to the neon, is does weight 1388lbs more then the neon. The neon only has 62 horses less then the bimmer but the neon has 13.1:1 HP ratio and the bimmer has 15.2:1 HP ratio. So this means that the BMW should've lost, but it didn't.

P.S - This is a 740IL, which is heavier, not the regular 740I.
Thanks Don for your comment.

I actually meant Don (ENDER81). I did read your comments too, I just didn't want to reply to all of them.

No offense, but I have been to Atco a LOT and have NEVER seen a stock SRT-4 run those times. I KNOW they have, but out of probably 20 different stock SRT-4's, not a single one ran those times. Most run upper 14's (as in 14.7ish). A few of them were running consistent mid 14's (14.4-14.6 area)

Well let's be fair..as its been said all along..it was probably driver error. A lot of cars are faster than we can make them!

It's not a matter of if you've actually seen the car run a high 13 pass. Most of the time it's due to a pretty crappy driver not knowing how to get out of the whole. I know of several friends of mine that have pulled low 14's high 13's bone stock. I was able to pull a 13.9 bone stock and that same night I threw slick on and pulled a 13.3.

I wasn't there for this "pull" but I will chalk it up mostly to driver error.

man why you be all kinds of quotin me out of context??!?!?! WTF!!

lol jk I know most ppl dont run near that, thats why i said the whole bit about the driver not testing cars for a magazine as his job, meaning he doesnt have the necessary skill to use his car to the full potential

In 2003 I ran 12.3 @ 112mph on the stock turbo, and we'll see how I end up after I get everything back together.

How many friends? If is enough cars it might come close in value as the 740, then it would be worth it! lol.
