Blame Game For Murders

they very second i saw this photo

i knew they would compare it to this movie

as well as this

its from a korean movie "oldboy" for those of you who havent seen it i recomend it. i own 4 copies at this point ( bootleg, legit, special edition, and super special edition with film cels and all that other crap to make a dvd $60)

this pisses me off cause now a movie that has been a favorite of mine for years may come under fire like like other scapegoats like the game doom or any marylin manson record did in other school shootings.

i know the killing and killer are being discussd in other threads but i wanted to start a new one to see who among you thing that violent games and movie and music drive people to do this.

i know the shooting and the killer are being discussed in other threads but i wanted to open up thread here to see if any of you think there is a link between violent movies and real acts of violence.

i agree with some correlation between the two, for instance i used to be able to wank to playboy, now i need hd dvd, four chicks, several power tools, a big screen tv and about 45 minutes of spare time

i think that when you are inundated with violence or anything for that matter its going to take more the next time to make you have that same feeling.

what i cant stand is the people who are so close minded, (this happens alot with certain special interest groups or tv show hosts), that they ignore 90 other factors and social issues that leads up to events like this.

thoughts?

please dont lock btw, i dont want this to be soley about this virginia tech murders. i know there is already a thread for that
