Well, while the evo is going under the knife for a new clutch I figured it will be the perfect time to install some parts that I have had laying around.

Some custom carbon piping - Nothing like an aftermarket turbo and a stock airbox.

Walbro fuel pump

Injectors

Some ARP bolts

how much was that carbon fiber, and where do u get formed and heated,
And how much power are u looking for. or are u geting ready for bigger turbo

i understand the use of the fuel pump and injectors, but whats with the CF, what are you using it for

The carbon fiber is a tube of weaved CF. I am using foam pipe insulation with wire running through the center to form pipe. Then you just slide the CF over the foam and resin it.

The reason for the CF pipe is a custom turbo setup and I don't have a manrel bender to make intercooler piping. Also I just like to do things by myself

Rod bolts. I am upping the RPM to compensate for the lag.

35 isnt big enough yet your motor is stock, i find this hard to beleive hurry up get it done i wanna see the power it makes

The motor is stock for now. No making huge power just yet. I have the 2.3L stroker kit just sitting there, but the motor only has 13K miles still. I just cant do that to a perfect motor with that kind of miles just yet. I am doing things one step at a time... or until I blow it up. lol. Probably until I blow it up

doesnt that cf have to be covered with resin then put into a vaccum bag..

You dont NEED to vaccum bag it, but it is recommended. I am trying the whole trial and error thing

I am doing them the 1 by 1 method. One step at a time, plus at this point in time I am not comfortable rebuiding the motor by myself

i advise aginst the one by one method but oh well, and you should vacuum bag it or it probably wont hold, id bag it and composutes is my profession
