I never mentioned one persons life is diff. from another. The point I was trying to make is that you brought up a clerk vs a police officer. You dont see clerks backing eachother up day in and day out, going to serious calls together and fighting crime together. The people that you work with as a police officer are your family, you see them more often then you see your significant other. If you can understand that then you should understand why he prob. looked the way he did.(should of been worse IMHO).
So the point I'm trying to make is, if that was your brother that got shot, trust me I dont think you would just sit there and say. Well, **** it the cops will get him.

Something the internet gangsters and cop haters here don't take into account is that the guy likely fought like hell when he was cornered, and beat the hell out of a couple of cops who were trying to arrest him.

If he was desperate enough to shoot a cop in the face and jump out a 3 story window, he's not going to calm down and say..."ok, you got me, I'll chill out now". It isn't happening.

Our society is in such a hurry to feel pity for this guy, you haven't even considered any other possible scenario except that 27 cops beat the guy with bats.

Most of you are accusing cops of a one-line mentality, but you're showing your own narrow-mindedness by ignoring the remaining factors in the situation.

You think this guy actually got into the back of a cop car without a fight? Think again. And did he hit and kick cops? I'm sure there's a couple of officers that were dealing with wounds.

Try giving a damn about THEM instead of this guy....and give a damn about the dead cop and his family, the old lady and her family, and not some guy who is a double murderer and lost a fight.

"7-11 guy = human life
pompous police officer = human life"

So, all cops, in your mind, are pompous? This stuff just kills me - you guys sound like pissed off 7th graders who got grounded for bad grades in spelling.

Sure, there are arrogant cops - of course, especially here in the Northeast, dealing with the attitudes of some of youse guys on a daily basis...it'd make me a jerk, too. I've seen guys jump in an verbally attack a police officer when the cop pulled them over for a taillight being out and just wanting to let them know....a simple informational warning turned into a drawnout fight, simply because of a stupid attitude of a driver - happens all the time, yet people make out like it's the cops who are pompous? Please....

Running around in life with a chip on your shoulder, hating everyone in authority is (a) a typical immature teenager reaction that you should really get over, now that you're old enough to drive, and (b) very expensive and frustrating in the long run.
