So, is it 80 degress out and sunny where you are?

Cause it is where I am

I had enough of winter, so I packed up, and took the miata to Florida.

Though, apparantly, my grandparents live in the only neighborhood on the planet without a single wireless network for me to leach off of. I'm still trying to find out where the meeting spot is for cars around here...not having much luck though.

Took that one the other night at dusk, came out ok. Editing photos on my sisters sloooooow ass celeron 2.6 w./ 512 mb ram, using paintshop pro 8, really sucks.

Anyway. Enjoy your slush and snow.

I was running out of light fast, and I couldn't find anywhere to set up and take pictures. That is at the end of the road from where I am staying, and gave me a nice triange of the light, my car, and a place to set up the camer. It was that, or nothing that night. Maybe i'll go take some more now, I think the people at Pantera Bread are growing tired of me being here.

JDM hood spacers. allows for some air flow from under the hood, keeps cooler air coming in, and warmer air going out.

That sucks...it was a pretty nice ride. I just finally got an iPod, so I had that with 5k songs, plus XM & Sirius for the ride down. Time just flew by. Though, I have to say, I doubt anyone that passed me while I was driving in Georgia with the top down, singing along and fist pumping to Journey's Greatest Hits though that I wasn't a little 'odd'.

Its a Garage Vary JDM front lip. I'm headed out in a bit to snap some more pics, I put two coats of wax on yesterday, so the car should look sharp. I'm just waiting for the sun to drop down a little bit so I can get a good pic.

You could always pick up a cheap 90-92 miata. It won't set you back much, and its a fun ass car to auto-x.

I know. As I said, it was that or nothing. I have no clue where a good spot to set up a shot is, and I just wanted to get a few pics with varying shutter speed so when I had a good spot, I could get a nice shot. Today, I will take some shots with palm trees, hurricane wreckage, and old people in it to provide a better 'florida feel'.

Oh, and its 'you're'

How do these hood spacers work? thing they would work on a subaru. Sounds like a good function.

I don't see why they wouldn't work on a suby, but two things to bear in mind. I would only do it if you have a FMIC, since it will pull the splitter off the top of the IC, and also, the stock hood flexes quite a bit, i'm not sure how these will effect that. They are essentially aluminum pieces with an angled top, that uses longer bolts. They sit on top of the hinge.

Theres your god damn palm trees.

Seriously though, got some decent shots. Almost ran out of gas about twenty miles out of town, trying to find somewhere in the orange groves to take pics. Got back to town on fumes.

Also went to the Red Sox Game today

Thats the new catcher they picked up dropping a three run bomb.

More pics in the directory if you want to look

http://zobre.org/cliff/images/florida

I think the total is pushing 14 people who have knocked on my grand parents door to let them know my hood was open.

The car has had probably half a dozen sets of rims in the past year. Its on stockers now. I let Yusuf keep the gold mesh wheels, I wasn't a huge fan, and they were far from light. Maybe some RPF-1's next...I should have bought them when AutoAddictions had them buy 3 get 1. Oh well.

Hah, thanks...if its the car you are jealous of, well, I wouldn't mind a turbo subaru that runs... , but if its the weather, I can't help you.
