power sliding/drifting/driving agressively in a corporate complex?

There are about 2 seperate corporate complexes by my house (one is Volvo's main headquaters). I love these places because they are like free road courses - except that they don't go in circles. They are just corporate driveways with practically no traffic. The volvo complex has some potholes, so I usually go to the other one (lets call it complex B). However, the volvo complex is slightly bigger than complex B. Complex B has 3 really nice turns that you can slide around (I'm too scared to completely drift my car around the turns and doubt I could in AWD without screwing up my car) and it has a 1/4 mile straight away at the end (the entire staright away isn't shown in the pic).

Anyway, last night, I decided to spend a minute or two driving in complex B. I usually limit my time there to 2 laps (ie. drving to the end of the road, coming back to the driveway entrance, going back to the end of the driveway, and then coming back out. This is so the guys who own/run the businesses don't call the cops. But, last night I did 3 laps.

Just as I was about to finish my 3rd lap and go back home I saw a cop. It was right when I was coming out of "Turn 2" (look at pic). I was doing about 45 around this 90 degree turn and I was power sliding (same with Turn 3). The cop came around Turn 1 and saw me speeding through Turn 2. He turned on his sirens right away.

I considered getting away (i've never done it before) since I had already passed him by now (it took me a while to slow down) and he had to start making a U-turn. But, I pulled over at the corner of trun 1. He had a WTF-look on his face when he got to my window. First thing he said was "what smells". I got my tires to screech around turns 2 and 3; and they were burning up. he thought I was doing donuts - that's how bad it smelled. Anyway, he gave me a $200 ticket for doing 45 in a 25. Luckily he didn't notice that my car isn't inspected!

I'm not sure if $200 was worth spending 15 minutes speeding, but it was fun.

And, yes I took the time to draw this thing. I've been so bored today.

I had an officer (sheriff) who drives a yellow 5.0 stang with black stripes with headers, head work, and dual exhaust (it's a cop car. He confisgated it from a drug dealer..had lights installed and so on) almost run me off the road..he then proceeded to smoke the tires in a U-turn to follow me into my driveway. Said I was doing 15mph over in a kiss your a$s turn that an srt-4 couldnt do at anything faster than 15mph. So I reported his dumba$s to the court house..they dropped the ticket.

A few years ago there was a Bensalem cop that pulled into Philadelphia park racetrack while I was playing in the snow. He parked on the far end of the lot, and just sat there. After seeing him, I stopped for a minute for two and just waited for the ticket. He didn't approach me or anything, so I started again. After watching me for a few more minutes he turned on his lights and started coming towards me. Crap. But he just did two or three donuts himself before turnming around and leaving.

Not all cops are dicks.

2 of my friends were drifting in their 240's at an insurance comapany parking lot and hit eachother haha...1 car was undriveable...they left to get their friends tow truck and when they got back the cops were there..they got a few tickets..careless....leaving the scene of an accident...and some other stuff..pretty hefty fines though.

I cant count the number of times I have been caught. Most cops are ok with it. One was a real dick and wrote a bunch of false tickets, but that is a long story.

ive never been busted but i do know that road at volvo because i have to go there a couple of times a year for training. it is definitely a sweet little road.

a few weeks back i got 180 in fines, for doing donuts in an empty snow covered parking lot.

When i worked at Acura i always had to go to the OV mall to deposit the bank bag. At the time the lot car that i had to drive was a four door Integra and i was pulled over for "powersliding." All i did was go around a turn fast, i didnt slide at all, but the cop gave me a ticket for careless driving. I just pleaded not guilty and went to court. In the end i was completley let off with points and just had to pay like 75 dollars i think.
If i was you i would fight it, is it your first offense?

me, ralph (underpoweredRS) and bryan (troll) went into jersey one night for some mud fun. Well mid drift/slide I am facing the good old red and blues.

They didnt care that we "beat up" out "wanabe rally cars" but they did care that we did 60mph on a dirt access road that they were stationed on. oops. no tickets, just a slap on the wrist.

I got caught drifting around a high school parking lot way after hours like 1am and I geuss somebody called the police on me. He just said what are you doing here, I said I'm not going to lie.......well just look at the tire marks in the snow. Then he said get outta here, school is out. I said ok, thanks.

I got gaught "riding dirty" on my atv last month. $150 ticket plus $150 towing and impound fee... super sucked

If i was you i would fight it, is it your first offense?

It would be kind of hard to fight it. I totally admitted that I was going too fast (I was hoping he would let me off if I was honest with him). It's my second offense. I got careless driving about 6 months ago and go the points removed; but, I had to pay like 300 dollars. Hopefully I can do the same here.

Whenever I feel like doing donuts or stupid stuff I make sure I am in NJ. I pretty much make sure im in NJ or MD before doing anything now. I got a few tickets in NJ and they never showed up. I just simply payed the fine. It wasn't cheap and I didnt get ticketed every time it happened but still. At least i didnt have to worry about points. You have to watch though, you can accumulate "out of state points" and they keep tabs of how many you got in their state. When you exceed 6 or whatever their max is, they send you a letter of impending license suspension but state that you cant drive there for 60 days or however long the suspension would be.
