I've convinced my boss how useless my motorola slvr is, and I want to buy a THIN smart phone
i'm looking at the samsung blackjack, and possibly the motorola Q.

anyone have any reviews on them or insight on something better to get?

Does it have to be thin? What provider are you going to use? And do you want a smart phone or oen that runs WM5? I have the 8252 from cingular. I love the options that i have and that I can do anything via my phone. I hate that it locks up ALL THE TIME. I have to reset couple times per week.

I second that, the step brothers dad works for samsung and told me to steer clear of the Black Jack.

Blackberry Pearl, hands down badass.

I have a Palm Treo and I LOVE it! I cant stand Windows Mobile- locks up too much and tends to lag. I highly reccomend the Palm OS, its quick and user friendly. A lot easier to downoad 3rd party apps and things like that.

I just got my g/f the Verizon Audiovox 6700. The phone's badass! They keyboard slides out (obviously)...

I'm not sure if all of the smartphones work like this, but it's simple enough to charge...just plug in a standard usb cord and it charges through the computer.

I have the Motorola Q. My only complaint is that, even with the extended battery, its dead in about a day's worth of use. I charge overnight, and by the time I go to bed the next night its on one bar or less. Aside from that it's great...

I have the HTC S-620, which is the same phone, except unbranded. It's has been great so far.

If you are looking for smartphones, take a look at the HTC/I-Mate/Qtec lines on GSM arena.

Do you have a price range?

Yea, the Q has rather crappy life. Honestly, the dash is the best smartphone right now.

Dash

If you want, I can take pictures of mine next to my moms razr so u can feel for the size and width and thickness....its really not much thicker than the razr, and is rubberized for good grip.
