i smoked for 2 years and recently quit around the end of december. I only really get a craving when I am at work and its around the time I usually would go grab a smoke, and even then I havent had one of those cravings in a while. I do chew a good amount of gum tho. Id say try and find something new in your life to take your mind off of it.

i chew orbit cinnamon i think. drink a lot more water now too, and iced tea, soda. I eat a ton more too haha. I pretty much do everything i used to do, just more.

I quit 1/1/06 after smoking for 10 years. It was the hardest thing I ever did man so I can feel where your at. 1 year + later and I still crave them espesically when drinking or working on the car.

I feel much better though and so will you. Hang in there man you'll be ok. Oh and as stated try some Dentyne gum (cinammon worked for me) and always carry a bottle of water and when you get a craving take a few chugs. It helps man trust me

I don't comprehend it...You can set a goal for yourself with a car and make it what you want by putting your heart and soul into it yet you think you couldn't quit smoking...You obviously Haven't tried very hard to quit.

My dad quit cold turkey 20 years ago...The doctor a couple years ago said he would never know my dad smoked if he hadn't known him basically his whole life and his lungs were healthier than ever. The body makes nicotine naturally...when you smoke it stops making it for you since its getting an overload from the Ciggs. It will resume again once it realizes what your trying to do.

Mind over matter.
I find it kinda relaxing to smoke. Hence why I enjoy cigars randomly. They take longer to smoke, taste good, and it's very relaxing for me.

Thanks for the words everyone.

Barry: I didn't even now you smoked and I didn't even know Pete quit. Nice!

Yeah I bitch at people smoking also. LoL.. I can't stand the smell anymore.

I got two rolls of Mentos for tonight! But I don't feel so bad today. I have noticed that I drink more water for some reason. I bring two medium sized bottles of water to work and I usally finish them both.
