Yeah the flower shots are from longwood gardens, I go there alot to practice.

For 4,9, and 12 I used my 70-300mm with 1:2 macro. Because there was enough light I could use a higher shutter speed so I didn't need a tripod

i like the single rose the best but all the shots are very nice, well done. i think im going to have to take a trip to longwood gardens in the next few days to snap some pics

Looks very good. I really like the shallow DOF on #'s 9,11, and 12. I like the idea of the melting wax, but I think you could have gone to a slightly larger f/stop to create a larger DOF but I understand if the shot was taken freehand and you needed a faster shutter speed.

The garden shots make me want to go there or stop by the grounds for sculpture near me and take some pics.

All and all, nice work keep it up.

I STILL haven't gotten to longwood yet this year. Nice pics, i need to get into it if i ever get some extra cash.

dt98gsr: I hear you about the DOF of the wax pic, A larger f/stop would have worked abit better. You have a good eye to pic up little things in photos
