yes. friends with the family... well he has to be friends with osama. second. many many people reported (before 9/11 even happened) the us government arrived at a hospital in iraq, to check up and keep osama bin laden secure. If he was a wanted terrorist before 9/11 , and obviously now after, how come he wasnt arressted when tons of gov. people took over a hospital he was in and treated him with royalty.

Its just like Steve Jobs and Bill Gates being friends. If one of Bill Gates' kid goes nuts and kills someone that doesn't mean Bill is a bad guy and it def doesn't mean Steve is for associating with them. I also said, just because people are in power doesn't mean they are also trying to blow up buildings.

Please refer to what I said above. Being associated with a family doesnt mean you are in on everything they do.

Also, where did this trusted report come from that the US gov was there to protect Osama? Did it come from the same minister of defense in Iraq who at the begining of the war said to the media "The US is not in Iraq and will never defeat us" as our bombs were landing in the background and our tanks were half way to his location? I dont understand how you can discount ever credible (relative) US news agency, yet will believe a report that came out of the Middle East. Have you not seen any of the stories that were reported during the Israel and Hezbollah war where photos were being staged to make it more sensational to influence American opinions?

Did you watch the O'Reilly Factor last night? They are doing an "investigation" and NOT ONE film, tv, or book critic wasn't a registered democrat with donations to the party. All of the critic sub-companies are owned by the same big company, of whom shells out LARGE amounts of money to democratic parties such as Howard Dean and the Clintons...kind of interesting

debates like these usually hurt the subject more than help it. people are so to one extreme on this matter that no one will listen to anything that might contradict their thoughts on this subject. if you really wanna try and figure out 9/11 you should try and understand both sides and discuss it not blame the other person for being to stupid to understand your view.

Great point, all politics and religon conversations tend to be that way. I like what the Time article said "We tend to associate major events--a President or princess dying--with major causes," says Patrick Leman, a lecturer in psychology at Royal Holloway University of London, who has conducted studies on conspiracy belief. It is true for this situation and on a deeper level the religon issue. People will deny the truths that are staring them in the face for a more comforting albeit, less rational, explination. The thing I find amusing or ironic in a sense is a majority of these people, the 9/11 conspiritorists, tend to be on the liberal side. This is the same group of people who denounce religion becuase it is not based in reason buit on belief. Some of them, conspiritorists, would go so far as to chastise another, hardcore religous, for their beliefs as ignorant because of their unwillingness to accept evolution as a fact based on the readily available scientific documentation. it would seem the shoe is on the other foot.

Its sort of a stretch but as I said earlier Im really bored at work anticipating an 11 day break and my mind is wandering.

If you are talking about using logic and common sense, forget about it. Everyone just wants someone to put blame on these days, they don't care if it's right or wrong....mainly because they don't know the difference.
