Actually, my argument was that FFVIII was the best in terms of plot and character development, argued objectively of course (no really, im not biased toward any FF game, its just VII is overhyped)

Ill post an excerpt from my massive dissection of the FF games
Quote:
FVIII - If you bitch about the story in this game, you obviously suck at comprehension. The sheer scale of this game and twisty storyline with sidestories amazes me at how they were able to keep it together. The absolutely most under appreciated FF game there is. Half the people here who hate FFVIII were 15 at the time they played and it and couldn't really comprehend what the story actually entailed. I believe that on a sub-conscious scale, VIII was one of the best games because it was so very psychologically based on the fact that each characters psyche is expressed implicitly in the game and one can easily identify a character based on persona. I say Zell, who do you think of? An energetic little brat which can't make up his mind. Selphie? A klutz. Squall? A loner which is obviously an INTP (mega props if you understand what the hell i am talking about). Some people might say there was a lack of development around the main character, Squall. No, there was a ton of it, what you might view as lack of development was in fact development in itself as his melancholy toward individual actions and events was a true indicator of who he was.

The scale of the story starts from a normal student to a cross dimensional battle which eventually leads to a multidimensional conflict which is based off of premeditated rivalry (Squall/Seifer). The whole transfer from the beginning to the end was one of the most intricately made story boards out of all the games. VIII is one of the most comprehensive definitions of what it means to be a Final Fantasy game. If people say it was too far out there... Uh, duh? It's called Final Fantasy for a reason - based in a Fantasy world pushing toward the limit of imagination with each one, that is what I believe a FF game is supposed to be.
just an excerpt to show where it is kind of going- And jspek just proved my point I made about character development

Some of my “leet” moments.

1. I loved playing Sega Geneses (the big one) so much that I wore though 13 controllers (buttons or d-pad just stop working). The only one that still works is the original controller (still have the console also).

2. One of my rich friends at the time had a "all powerful" $3,500 dollar Dell 600mhz pc with an ISDN internet connection. He got me addicted to Counter-Strike and TFC. I could not stop thinking about playing it, so I went home and installed it into my HP 166mhz pc with a 36K AOL connection. I played for 6 months like that, at 640x480 res and had to use a house fan to keep the pc from over-heating. The thing lagged and was slow as ballz.. but I just kept playing. I did get into a TFC clan [YYZ] and was named [YYZ]Freakin Mew-Mix

3. I went from a 166mhz HP to my own custom built 700mhz system, and I think I almost shed a tear at the speed different.

4. I was an ebay member at the age of 15 (wasn’t even legal) was under my parents name. Was a beta tester for Paypal.

5. I used to build a new computer almost every year to keep up with the current market. At the time when the AMD Athlon XP came out.. all my friends had the 1600+ processor, I paid an extra $300 dollars just to get the 1800+ so I was “better” and more powerful.

6. I save money like no other, and I keep track of all the money I have or large sums of money that I lent people (I am called “Mr. money bags”) in Microsoft Excel. I like to spend money on other people, and not myself. So I guess I am a cheap in some sense.

7. Dream of turning my 88 Eurosport into a low 13’s, high 12 second quarter mile car all the time (the dream is coming soon this winter!)

I look back and I can’t believe how much time I have spent playing computer games or working on computers. Today I don’t play one console or computer game, and my own personal computer is almost 3 years old. As of right now I am the network administrator for AGMC and when I go home for the day.. I rather not even think or look at a computer.

Actually he seemed more emo than gay.
Although, it's sometimes hard to differentiate between the two because both of those personas are into wearing tight girl jeans.

Yea, well my roomate and I are both big into cars. I got my integra a few weeks before I came to school last year, and met him at his old house because he overheard me talking about Ls/Vtec to somebody. Now since were roomates its like oh did you see the thread on honda-tech and stuff like that. Then at parties if someone brings up cars and has no clue what there talking about i tend to correct them then get yelled at for talking about cars to much

just thought of another one for me. I'm completely addicted to wawa lemonade tea. I get a half gallon every morning, and sometimes drink 2 in a day.
