Carbon Fiber hood for Civic

recently, i have been looking into getting a c/f hood for my 2000 civic. I found that VIS is pretty inexpensive, but someone told me that they have a bad fit. Anyone know from experience, or know of any good brands for a decent price???

I had a VIS on my Integra fitment was 100%. My buddy had a Fiber Images on his 00 SI Fittment was also 100% but the weave was not as good as the VIS. Also his hood felt a little heavier

Ive heard bad things about Vis (clear coat related mainly) I would personally spend alittle more and do a seibon. Fiber Images and Carbon Creations are another option if you want to spend the money.

ive had experiences with vis, seibon, and fiber images, and i think that vis was the best of the 3. the fiber images and the vis had the best fitment, but the vis clear coat didnt fade at all (after 2 years). if i was to get another cf hood/trunk/etc, id have to go with vis.

VIS//SEIBON FTW!!

Just take care of it as you would paint...wax it...don't leave it in sun for months...etc...and it should be FINE!!

i left mine in the sun for over a year and there were zero signs of fading. id definately recommend using a synthetic wax like eagle one nano wax, or even some meguiars marine fiberglass glaze
