You'r not going to be able to lower a civic on 17inch wheels. 16in are the biggest wheels that should ever go on a civic.

A bigger throttle body and a intake mani is gonna do close to nothing for you. It's really a waste of money.

The difference in making a civic fast and a DSM fast

It takes like 800 dollars for the DSM...and like 3k for the civic.

Clean car though

wow clean you sure take alot of **** in your posts. Do what you want, learn alot about the car, and have fun. That is what it is all about. Money and resources shouldn't be a concern. You don't have enough money, get a second job simple as that. Good luck.

Here's what I would do:

1.) Return it to stock form.
2.) Drive and maintain it until you pay it off
3.) Take advantage of the best resale value known to man... and sell it as a "not dicked with" Honda.
4.) Buy a faster car.

Mods will cost you cash AND resale value in return for minimal gains. Not smart.

1. the only mod is the wheels, and a short shifter coming next week
2. its paid off, adn well maintained
3. im gona drive it all through college. private party value on it as of now is 7k, nad I paid 6500 from a dealership
4. I dont need a faster car. I have driving experience, but not enough to go and get an srt-4 and beat on it all day. i know that if I get a fast car, I will lose the car, and possibly my life, so I am avoiding that route until I know I am ready.

#4 is an odd statement.

Its called being smart and not exceeding the limits of you and your car...To be afraid to have a fast car probably means you shoudl never have one in the first place...Driving a civic to get "Expereince" isnt exactly what I would call a good way to laeran for when you get a faster car.

Not trusting yourself with the capability to do 0-60 in under 5 seconds is in some ways "responsible". Given, it may not be the best way to ensure you don't hurt somebody (The best being simply to obey the speed limit), but at least it's realistic.
