welllllllll we can meet at the dump, for now. and decided a permanent place. make the dump a temp place. and if anyone does burnouts, they are teh banned from tst meets/forum. make it a strict rule.

I think thats a good idea. Theres enough spots to have the meet, as well as places to eat and all. Also it being a random thursday night no one will expect it so we should be good for this thursday night.

I'd also like to propose a weekly bar meet over the winter... Thursday nights as normal but finding a spot inside to go to and hang out, or even go to different locations each week if thats what the group wants. For the winter at least it just seems like a better environment (for those over 21 at least). Since it is a 21+ thing, we can still do an outdoor meet once a month.

I'd propose that we have a MONTHLY meet over the winter... once a month whether its the first or last thursday of the month, or whatever. Less time standing out in the cold and it should get a better showing since its a little less frequent. We will also have an easier time meeting somewhere if its not as frequent. And dont forget it will give everyone more time to miss each other so we'll be completely drama-free (ha!).

i like the weekly bar meet idea, but maybe we could make that a friday nite
thing since some of us have to be in work early on fridays? just a thought

I think an ideal long term solution would be finding a lot in the Neshaminy area that is owned by a single person (not a strip mall or major company). This would make travel easier for some people from what I have been told, and it will also give us permission once and for all to meet up in a location without having to worry about getting kicked out as long as we behave.
Also it would be nice to be in a lot with a finite size so that the group is relatively close together without a lot of extra pavement for people to mess around in. Absolute was pretty much perfect if we can find something like that again.
I dont know how easy that will be to pull off but I'm hoping to find something like that by the spring. In the meantime... I dont know really.

I'm almost positive this is a bad suggestion, but whatever happened with Absolute? I haven't driven by Neshaminy in almost a year but did someone else take ownership finally?

Too bad Fresh Works won't keep working out, it was good while it lasted though, and I'm suprised it lasted so long. At least this happened while it's getting too cold anyway.

Maybe Brunswick Zone off of street road or maybe Penndel Bowling Alley? Maybe we could try running it as a weekly "car show" instead of a meet.

Yeah I think its worth looking into Absolute again... not sure exactly what is going on there now but I heard it was a deli? No real idea though...
And it was nothing in particular at all... just a slow buildup of complaints, etc. Whether it was from specific stupid behavior or just the fact that a mass of cars was there and people didnt like it, it eventually built up enough that they responded.

curlys bar on krewstown rd...they got an empty parking lot on thursday night not the biggest but decent, and theres a shopping center next door with a colsed down supermarket.

wow this is weird i was just up fresh works this past sunday. I dunno where we could chill over the winter on thursday nights that would offer INDOOR seating and food. but i do have a few ideas...

Dump wasn't bad...also on street road before second street pike there was a kmart there and its a huge parking lot barely anyone there?? Jersey we have meets Fridays and SUndays at Fuddruckers...i'll leave it up to whomever
