Cleaning up the Talon...

So I've got a weekend off and thought I'd bring the Talon back to a respectable appearance.

I went from this:

...to this!

And this...

...to this!

but I couldn't have done it without my homies....

Part 2 come tomorrow...

i had the exact same idea as you did so I basically deep-cleaned my car inside and ended up re-wiring the drivers side door console because for some reason the wires were out of the connector...

That's why the power locks and window didn't work

Looks good!

My point is shuddafxup... damn bimmer owners.... lol

But I did take care of it today... sanded that **** down and coated it.

Part 2; Stage 1

Well, now it's time to get the engine bay looking good and all the **** and grime off the rest of the car (I don't even wanna get into my mess of wheels...) This is phase 1. A week or two from now the complete cleaning/buffing/scrubbing/detailing will be done and it should hopefully be looking good as new!

From this:

To this:

Yeah, it didn't get completely done, but we got a good start on it...

A real point of mine would be that it's a 12 year old PA DSM. Whomever had your car before you probably took decent care of it since it's a BMW. Mine on the other hand... well, it's a DSM.

But yeah, I'm at the point of doing exterior restoration to catch up with motor restoration. Like I said, today I even got in and sanded it to get the rust off and then hit with with some Krylon "Rust-Tough" or something like that spray.

BTW, I like your car and your vids are pretty damn good.
