I woke up in the early am went down and wrote it in the sand. Went back woke her up and asked if she wanted to walk on the beach. So we walked down. Kinda kept her attention towards the ocean. Then got her to look over..she read "will you" the turned to me with the look of shock by then I was down on one knee. She started to cry and said yes. Call me a pussy I shed a tear when I asked her. Haha...I forget the exact total. But the diamond alone was 2500. Its a 3 diamond setting with diamonds on the band also. I was going for quality not quanity. Not that its small by any means. Its enough for her tiny hands...lol. They have ratings on clarity and what not. Its about perfect with very small imperfections not visible to the naked eye. There like "birth marks" for diamonds. They almost all have them.

funny story
i had a semi rich dude i know ask one of my friends from hs to marry him
he left the ring inside his car for 2-3 months in the GLOVEBOX.

i assume that it was valued pretty high since it also had 3 diamonds but the middle diamond was like 2.5 carats.

and the wedding band has 12 diamonds around the whole band.. prolly .75-1 carat each.

he became a diamond importer just to get a better deal on the diamonds.
