Wow, someone remembers me.

Reading what some of you have gone through I feel very bad for being lucky. I work at a restaurant right now to help my friend (the owner) out but once he gets everything taken care of and can look over his restaurant more often or find someone trustworthy enough I will resume my other job which is VP for my parents companies. I pay for everything I have but they pay me very well so I dunno, did I pay for my stuff or my parents?

I try not to be arrogant but sometimes I am without knowing.

uhh, no offense, but family members dying shouldn't be ANYWHERE in your "life plan". Don't take this as an insult, but I have seen MANY people who were "depending" on their grandparents money get mysteriously left out of the will I laughed.

Yea...idk...maybe I'm a bit ambitious but whatever, just things I think of a lot for my future.

The grandparents are the one's who should be insulted.
Or at least watching their backs.

Sooo true. I have seen a few of my friends get 'screwed' out of inheritance cash. I always ask, 'screwed?? how so??, you just weren't part of their plan'.

LMFAO, same exact thing I said to my friend I couldn't agree with my grandparents more when they tell me they would rather be here to at least see me spend their money (the usually $20 thing stuff in the back pocket), but it really pisses me off that they aren't traveling a lot anymore because they are worried they won't have a lot of inheritance to give. It's the most retarded thing and it really does make me angry. My grandfather wanted an Escalade and could have easily afforded it, but he opted out of the more expensive vehicle just to save money to pass down It makes no freakin sense to me, it's their money and they worked for it, no need to give it to ANYONE (especially people who don't really need it). Sorry for the rant.

LOL! Yea but its not money I'm looking to get. Plus, I'm very close with my grandparents considering I live 20 feet from them lol. PLUS I'll still have to pay 2/3rds of what the house would be worth.

Parents are usually there to lend a hand, its just a matter of how you appreciate it or what you do to work for it. My dad paid my insurance till he passed away a couple months ago, tahst how i have my srt. I myself pay the 350 plus a month for the payments, dont take gas money and my parts most were used from friends or just my credit card stupidity. All in all i look at it as be happy with what you got and dotn be envious ever, bc you never trully know the story behind someone's business.

yeah, my dad bought my first car.. well actually know, I got my granny's car and me and my dad sold that and most of the money went to a cavalier .

Then, i've had 4 cars since then, upgrading with each one with my own money. Except the Talon, that was a downgrade in class, but an upgrade in potential power....lol. My mom pays my insurance as long as I never get in an accident or get a ticket... and as long as I stay in school fulltime. If any of that changes I get dropped from her insurance and have to pay my own. Meanwhile I work 2 jobs, and when school starts i'm starting another, to pay for modding the talon... and clothes

I live at home (cant afford to move out), goto school full time, just started a new job, donate plasma, deliver newspapers, mow lawns, do promotional gigs for companies, house/pet sit, pick up odd jobs to pay for my car and autocross diseases. Ive started going through my closet and selling stuff on Ebay and selling cd's and books on Half.com. I pay for a fraction of my car insurance and repair bills also. It is kinda nice that my car is all paid for and inspected so I dont have to worry about a car payment and constant repair bills...

Live at home (@ age 21)
Work 40 hours a week @ $14 an hour doing product documentation.
I'm over 15k in debt but am building damn good credit from it.
All my free time and money is spent on my car.
Use dad's pole barn and 2 post lift when he lets me.

The worst part is that my car looks so beat you would guess I work at McDonalds. Truth is, I have nearly 8k worth of parts and countless hours in it.
