CEL w/manual boost controller

Turn the boost up a little and get a CEL and my CRUSE light is flashing. Anyone know the prodlem (besides im a jackass for upping the boost) and how to fix. Thanks

when your CEL is on your cruise light will flash when you are knocking. its not a good thing. i'm pretty sure that you dont want to just slap a mbc onto an STi because they already run pretty high boost. you should look into a complete engine management system instead.

definitely not. WRXs run 14.5 stock, STis run higher and from what i remember putting a MBC on by itself isnt really a good idea. Criz knows about it cause he tried it (on my suggestion, before i knew it was only good on WRXs... woops)

my friends sti, when he got it was at 14.5 everytime he floored it. this was stock.

wrx's tend to run a little blow 1 bar. 13.0-14psi usually. depending on weather and car that is.
