i was laid off last year in april i had the whole summer off then i was brought back and given 1.50 an hour raise :-D

Same boat here but they wern't even nice enough to send me an email, I found out while watching the news. They made sure to send me my surcharge letter early though

I was just watching NJN and they said it is unlikely we will be back tomorrow and more likely it will go into next week, but that may just be hype. They also said we can put in for unemployment without the wait, only problem is the unemployment office is on a skeleton crew so you will likely get a buisy signal so apply online.

Looks like we are back to work Friday. They are also talking about putting through a bill to pay us for the time we were forced to take off but I have a feeling that won't happen.
