Dunno what to think about it..

On Saturday, July 1, 2006 Governor Corzine issued Executive Order No. 17 declaring a state of emergency and closing down state government except for essential services. Chief Justice Poritz accordingly has ordered that the previously distributed "Contingency Plan for Shutdown of Judiciary Operations" is now in effect.

Therefore, until otherwise notified, all state courts and other Judiciary operations will be closed on Monday, July 3 except for emergent matters and other essential functions as set forth in the Contingency Plan.

When there are further developments, updates will be posted on this Web site.

If your vacationing in NJ this week your pwned. The casinos in AC, horse tracks, historic sites, state parks, and a lot of beaches are expected to close wed. morning till whenever a budget gets worked out.

AFAIK municipal court is still going but I am almost positive state court is shut down.
